GOLDEN MIDDLE WAY

Personal discourse on the existence of the golden mean. Despite all foreseen and unforeseen adversities, we should advance. According to the philosophy, the golden mean, among other things, gives knowledge and leads to enlightenment.

This painting was painted during several turbulent months. The most important element of the picture is the horizontal line squeezing the canvas. The choice of its colour and tension of the string is not accidental. When hard times come, everything seems dark. I think everyone knows the feeling of tightness in the throat. Human being is structured to have hope even in the worst moments. The gold leafs applied on the horizontal line represent this hope, hope for a better tomorrow.

Osobisty dyskurs na temat istnienia złotego środka. Pomimo wszystkich przewidywanych i nieprzewidzianych przeciwności losu powinniśmy iść naprzód. Zgodnie z filozofią złoty środek daje, między innymi wiedzę i prowadzi do oświecenia.

Obraz był malowany na przestrzeni paru burzliwych miesięcy. Najważniejszym elementem obrazu jest pozioma linia ściskająca płótno. Wybór koloru i napięcia sznurka nie są przypadkowe. Kiedy przychodzą ciężkie chwile, wszytko wydaje się mroczne. Myślę, że każdy zna uczucie ucisku w gardle. Istota ludzka jest tak skonstruowana, aby nawet w najgorszych momentach, mieć nadzieję. Złote płatki użyte na horyzontalnej lini reprezentują tą nadzieję, nadzieję na lepsze jutro.
