Framing painting

Orchid-my first oil painting (as a reference I used Lena Karpinsky‘s painting) /// Orchid-mój pierwszy obraz olejny (jako przykładu użyłam obrazu Leny Karpinsky)

I decided to frame one of my favourite paintings. Due to the lack of tools and relevant experience, I decided to take it to the professional store with frames Kehysliike Malkki in Tampere. They were kind enough to send me some photos of the frame’s creating process.

Postanowiłam oprawić jeden ze swoich ulubionych obrazów. Ze względu na brak narzędzi i odpowiedniego doświadczenia, zdecydowałam się zanieść mój obraz do profesjonalnego sklepu z ramami Kehysliike Malkki w Tampere. Byli na tyle mili, żeby przysłać mi kilka fotografii z procesu tworzenia ramy.

I read recently that the picture taken by Klaudia Cechini from Krakow (Poland), who is considered as the precursor of artistic Selfie, was included in the British album which covers 200 years of the history of photography “Photography: The Definitive Visual History”. I warmly congratulate such distinctions! Below is my selfe, less artistic in terms of aesthetics and composition, but with my painting in the background :D.

Ostatnio przeczytałam, że zdjęcie autorstwa Klaudii Cechini z Krakowa, która uznawana jest za prekursorkę artystycznego selfie, znalazło się w brytyjskim albumie obejmującym 200 lat historii fotografii “Photography: The Definitive Visual History”. Serdecznie gratuluję takiego wyróżnienia! Poniżej zamieszczam swoje selfe, mniej artystyczne pod względem estetyki i kompozycji, ale z moim obrazem w tle :D.
